Abbott is a mixed bag at the very best.
If you staked him over an ant hill, he would die in freakish pain before he would utter the words “civil forfeiture reform.”
Texas seems to get these people who are strong conservatives on some issues but far left on others.
Abbot is at least several steps up from Rick Perry, who granted Texas Muslims sharia courts (since reversed I believe) and attempted to place a ban on adding lanes on north/south limited access highways in exchange for foreign companies building a huge north/south highway which they would lease for practically nothing and run.
Maybe Abbot will get reigned in on this, or maybe not.
That part about the ant hill was pretty damn funny :)
And the stroke Perry was endlessly soliciting Californians and other blue staters to move to Texas and pollute it.
