I’m guessing a Cobra gunship with belt-fed ammo can probably reach 800+ actual rounds down-range in a minute. (Just a guess.)
So it seems that us civilians need some catching up to do! (And don’t even get me started on the rockets!)
Can slow them down to 100/three seconds.
Usually would run out of ammo, and needed a new box hooked up, as the ammo box contained 1500 rounds belted.
of course, having a helicopter to fly it around with makes it easier to carry around.
“(And dont even get me started on the rockets!)”
HE or flechette type rockets? :)
The muzzle-loading smoothbore Brown Bess Musket was, and is, an assault weapon. The ownership of this military weapon by civilians is enshrined into the United States Constitution, as is other weapons. Leave them alone.
If the U.S. Supreme Court ever rules that civilians can have access to nuclear bombs, I'll ask my congressman to introduce a constitutional amendment to require registration and a $200 federal tax payment. This, as a precaution.
