Although, come to think of it, it’s getting harder and harder to find kids with shovels knocking on doors when it snows the past 3 or 4 years.
Maybe parents need to bundle them up, hand them a shovel and say “come back when you have 100 bucks in your hands” :)

Many Americans would rather just get government subsidies than work. I have a restaurant and I can no longer hire Americans to wash dishes or cook. The government made it just as rewarding to have kids and not support them. It’s disgusting!

when I was a kid living in Great falls Montana during the 1970s it was a competition in the neighborhood to get and keep your costumers that regularly wanted there drive ways shoveld. if you did not do it immediately after a storm or during the storm when the snow got deep another kid would steal your job. prices were 50 cent a walk way and 2 dollars a driveway with the bigger driveways paying more.
