"Most of the stuff listed above makes crap builds. Most Chinese gun parts are crap. American made parts are worth the extra cost."

Nearly all of the kinds of parts listed in the article are made in China, including some of the more expensive brands. U.S.-"based" companies tend to mask the fact that their products are made in China by advertising that their competitors' parts are made in China. Some federal offices--some of them security related--have even approved the use of some of those parts for their agents.

The issue is about to get more interesting in more ways than one. One of the main gun control plans has been that of increasing prices on parts and supplies. That plan, of course, has already been shown to be a failure.

Not all US companies. Many retailers, yes. But there are many ‘made in the US’ sources for gun builds. You will pay more, but they won’t be cheap parts the break when ‘exercised’.
