Yes churches have been rehabilitated structurally and its true there is more spirituality embraced among the populace even if superficial Lenin remains unburied, and plenty of Soviet stuff has been rehabilitated too.
Since the building of churches is the very antithesis of Marxist Leninism - and the Soviet state was officially and aggressively atheistic - your claim that little of substance has changed is a bit of a stretch to put it mildly.
