But one might draw conclusions out of these facts.

They test a bunch, a few explosions and other failures, some people die, but finally make one that works and then make the one they deploy. Done.

Then, they tout the machine to 3rd world countries, who buy a few of the export model;
then, the Russians pick up some wealthier country like Turkey to whom they sell manufacturing rights (S-400, S-500, SU-57) and use that money to make 10 more of each item for deployment.

Of course it’s fake news. We have been running hypersonic surveillance platforms on them for decades.

Ridiculous. There is no link between owning a gun and aggression. THere is a direct link between ideological fanaticism and violence, regardless the weapon at hand. Aggression can occur actively or passively (neglect) with or without weapon. A state or police that reacts passively to a nation in distress is a prime example of weaponless violence. THey drop weapon, pretend they are for peace, and do nothing to rescue people from attack.

Putin built a hypersonic arsenal, while the Pentagon slept

Then it blew up in his face and irradiated a bunch of his scientists.

It’s about time that media claim Trump’s border wall plan makes Pentagon have no budget to develop new weapons that are crucial for defending Americanism and LGBTQ crusade.

Haha, man these journalists do nothing but twist and contort themselves to try and make Trump look bad. The leftists in my family, to a man, say this exact point on spending: Every social program could be funded if it wasn’t for all the military spending.

Now, all of a sudden, we are letting muh Russia get a leg up on us with ‘new Russian super-weapon’. What’s the media’s point here? Are they clamoring for increased spending to produce our own super weapons? Make up your minds!

Whatever, you can see one of their many narrative spurs forming. Look for this to be brought up at the next DNC debate by 1 or more of the knuckleheads. This is just the Journ0list doing its job.

President Obama found his private moment of political candor caught by a live microphone on Monday as he told President Dmitri A. Medvedev of Russia that he would have “more flexibility” to negotiate on the delicate issue of missile defense after the November election, which Mr. Obama apparently feels confident he will win.

https://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/27/us/politics/obama-caught-on-microphone-telling-medvedev-of-flexibility.html

Obama was the the American President in collusion with Russia.

The Left ALWAYS accuses others of exactly what it is they themselves are responsible for. ALWAYS.

Surprise suprise suprise.....

Middletown, Connecticut has a radioactive park where our “unlimited range Nuclear Cruise missile” plant used to be.

Tell you kids not to play there too long, or eat the dirt.

Putin still thinks its 1978. When his people realize they are still living like its 1978, they are going to be pissed.

I live near a former nuclear-aircraft test area.

When we moved into the area, I spent some time studying maps to familiarize with roads. Noticed a 1 square mile area oddly devoid of roads. “It’s Area 51” wife said. She wasn’t far off.

Radiation is mostly down to normal background levels. Just stay out of fenced off areas.

The pursuit of rare elements, oil and other valuable natural resources for the technology and transportation sector is real.
Russia made a few runs into Alaskan airspace. They are already heavily vested in Cuba and s America.
They are doing some neat nationalist tricks, but we shouldn’t stop sleeping with one eye open..

Ridiculous. There is no link between owning a gun and aggression. THere is a direct link between ideological fanaticism and violence, regardless the weapon at hand.

There is a very direct link between having weapons exports being one of your country's main source of income, and having to demonstrate the effectiveness of your weapons.

When the 1991 Gulf War resulted in our wiping out the Soviet-equipped and trained Iraqi military without even trying hard, the world took notice. The USSR collapsed just a few months later.

Pentagon got itself some nice INF bases in Romania and Poland.

You mean the ones built to protect Europe from...Iran?

I distinctly remember being told by the resident neocons those bases had no offensive capabilities.

“Between 1925-1990 Russia almost every year outspent US of military and often by a big factor.”

These days the GDP of Russia is about that of Italy. They can’t come close to what we spend by several orders of magnitude. And the rub is what they spent the money on and how effectively they spent it.

Right now they can barely support the troops they have now let alone field and sustain an army that could seriously threaten any country that isn’t directly attached to them.

Are these weapons a concern? Sure. Are they the Doomsday machines Putin says they are? Most likely not.

This arms race is happening because key neocon Republicans fell for the Russia-Russia-Russia hoax created by the Democrats. Putin was no different after the hoax began than he was before.

He added that the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile:

Yes, but what use will it be if the arhead device cannot be sustained at those speeds ( witness the recent radio active explosion in Russia on a test bed.)

Russia is a long way from perfecting its hyper-sonic missile.

Right now its a shot in the dark weapon. It can go so fast that it can fly right on by, and detonate a fart.

I doubt many of Russia’s customers expected their past-generation products to take on the latest US technology. If your AA and tanks are being hit before you even see the enemy, you’re done.

Maybe a few other god-king madmen in league with Saddam thought they would stand a chance
