I respect the general for his choice. He resigned following Trump's decision to pull all of our troops out of Syria. And there were many folks here who opposed that initial decision too.

Now anyone can argue that Trump never pulled "ALL" the troops out of Syria and that is true but that final decision came after Gen. Mattis resigned.

There has been nothing Mattis has ever said that maligns President Trump..........

Considering what happened to General Flynn, General Mattis made a wise decision.......
