I hope President Trump will win in 2020. That way we will be able to delay our Second Civil War for another four years. Perhaps the totalitarian globalists will see the light in that time period and permanently back off from this grab for power.

Then you’re just as deluded as they are...in my opinion.
It would be unwise to underestimate the threat. It should be taken seriously and dealt with seriously.

There were more than 33,000 homicides in Mexico in 2018.
Firearms regulation in Mexico
From Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_Mexico
[Excerpt:]
“Mexico has extremely restrictive laws regarding gun possession. There is only one gun store in the entire country, and it takes months of paperwork to have a chance at purchasing one legally.[3]”

Stopping crime or reducing crime is not the goal, wish, or interest of those who are working on removing guns from society. Their goal is to disarm the general public. The Government Agencies will still have theirs. And disarming the general public is not the end goal of those seeking to disarm the public. Their end goal is the control of the general public. Once control is gained and their power consolidated, they will begin to eliminate those they consider to be their enemies, unreliable, undesirable, and disloyal. It begins with the disarming of the public. In order to get the public to go along with being disarmed, they must convince the public that the care about their safety and welfare. What better way that to say, "We will rid crime from our midst. How? By taking those instruments of death, guns. And the sheep say,"As long as it makes me feel secure, I don't care."

It would be unwise to underestimate the threat.I haven't done that.
I simply stated that they believe buyback/confiscation is a winning issue for them when, IMO, it isn't a winning issue at all.
They've been threatening it for years and they get no traction with it despite "mass shootings".
