Oh no. Must be Island Packers. They’re who run the tourist boats to Santa Cruz our if here. I know the owner. She lives in a boat in our marina. They are the best for excursions. Will anxiously wait to hear more.

Could be a fishing boat, but more likely a yacht.
Island Packers was my first thought too. I did a Channel Islands trip with them, though from Oxnard, not Ventura and enjoyed it very much. This is tragic. Hope they are able to rescue more people from that boat.

Reports are it is Truth Aquatics out of Santa Barbara. I’ve been on a day trip boat from there which was a combined kayak + scuba trip. The kayak part was booked through Santa Barbara Adventures.
