Finally, we encourage our nation’s leaders to move forward and strengthen background checks and to remove weapons from those who have been determined to pose an imminent danger. We do not sell military-style rifles, and we believe the reauthorization of the Assault Weapons ban should be debated to determine its effectiveness. We must also do more, as a country, to understand the root causes that lead to this type of violent behavior. Today, I’m sending letters to the White House and the Congressional leadership that call for action on these common sense measures. As we’ve seen before, these horrific events occur and then the spotlight fades. We should not allow that to happen. Congress and the administration should act. Given our decades of experience selling firearms, we are also offering to serve as a resource in the national debate on responsible gun sales.

OOPS!

Not ONE MORE DOLLAR goes to Walmart.

Ever.

Shop anywhere else - target or meijer or even amazon if need be but cut wal-Mart to its knees.

Get Woke go broke.

It’s tine for the corporations to stop pandering to 30% of the nation and trying to destroy the liberties fought and paid for by blood so they can sell us Chinese junk

Wal-Mart is the same as Target now except Wal-Mart has fewer cute girls shopping there.

Walmart Discontinues Auto Part Sales To Prevent Car Accidents

Walmart Discontinues Auto Part Sales To Prevent Car Accidents

BENTONVILLE, AR—In a bold move intended to curb the thousands of deaths from vehicles each and every day, Walmart has decided to stop selling auto parts, sources confirmed Tuesday.

According to shocking reports, people have purchased car parts at Walmart and then those cars have been involved in accidents, proving a direct correlation between selling auto parts and causing deaths.

"We can no longer be complicit in an industry that kills over 3,000 people a day," said a spokesperson for Walmart. "Every time we sell a muffler, steering wheel cover, or flame decal, we are potentially causing the death of a person, and we cannot support that any longer."

(With thanks to the Babylon Bee)

Interesting timing.

Calif just started background checks for ammo.

Seems that would solve their problems, and relieve them of any ‘responsibility.’

We are done with Wal Mart. We will not spend money at a place that does not respect the 2nd. Amendment. And we have spent lots of money there.

Dick’s (et al) pulled similar anti-2A bull$hit and has now become a clothing boutique for middle school soccer players. Walmart won’t be hurt quite as badly, but gun owners are pretty much up-to-here with anti-gun corporate virtue signaling.

I have no idea if this is related but this morning I visited a local Walmart. As I passed the knife display something caught my attention.

Several different knives which I think could be described as fighting knives were on clearance. The discount was between 90% and 75%, most being closer to 90.

I have not had a Spyderco since around 1995 when I literally found an engraved one. I ended up buying, I think 12. They were Ruger, Spyderco, and SOG. When I got home and looked them over, I was disappointed to discover that every single one of them was made in China.

Despite that, they do seem like pretty decent knives. One of the Spyderco’s is pretty large, a bit larger than the engraved one I had. I do like the design of the Ruger’s. I can already open them in a flash.

Several were $5 and the most expensive one was the largest Spyderco at $13.

Sorry but I do not care if they ever sell ammo and guns. Wal mart is pretty good for fishing supplies.... Too many other places with better deals anyway. (Not that i have any guns to put ammo in)

Wally-World stopping selling handgun ammo in Alaska was the stupidest thing they could do. If there was anyplace that a handgun is needed it’s AK!

Everyone carries handguns in AK everywhere they go outside of town.

There is less expensive ammo available. Have it shipped right to your door.

As for the Red Chinese stuff you can get at Walmart - try to avoid it. Yes, I've bought some of it but find it harder and harder to justify.
