Where do they think their power comes from? Solar Panels in Seattle? Where it rains 75% of the time?

Following in the footsteps of the numnuts in Bezerkley. Maybe people should go back to coal or wood burning stoves.

All this window dressing might be laughable except that it raises the cost of construction in cities where there is a massive shortage of affordable housing.

This is completely bonkers. Natural gas is the most efficient, reliable and cheap and therefor - most environmentally friendly energy source there is.

The USA has enough Natural Gas to last a millennium but a shortage of electricity. And these morons want to increase the load on the electric grid.

I would NEVER buy an all electric home. When the power goes out, you got nothing. They want us to go back to the Stone Age. But at least caves had climate control. In the winter, the further back you go, the warmer it gets. In the summer, the further back you go, the cooler it gets.

That’s emission free heating and cooling.

Flintstones. Meet the Flintstones.

They have plenty of dams and hydropower in the region, but it’s never wise to put all one’s eggs in one basket.

There was a documentary made about the Seattle City Council and King County Commissioners.
The movie is titled 'Idiocracy'.
I'm being only slightly sarcastic. Don't waste your time or money watching it; it's a real stinker.
But so is Seattle these days.

The Left coast will become its own country at some point. These people are loons, and completely untethered from Americanism.

We are headed to energy wars. By what the a-hole left has come up with, there is no energy but wind and solar.

Two “reasons”:

1. Leftists hate fracking
2. Leftists want to force you to buy into their $green$ deal

These people are insane. In New York City a new apartment building was just completed with no natural gas. The builder had to make it that way for the city to permit the construction. I’m sure there are others beyond the one I know about. The Eco terrorists are running the show. They think electric is magic and natural gas is evil. Completely nuts.

This is the Seattle City Light chart for 2017 energy sources:

Hydro is overwhelming largest source. Natural gas barely registers (see note 2). So this is a big virtue signal action.

Natural gas service is available however...so the ones using gas for home heating, cooking, commercial operations and the like are the ones getting screwed ...
