yet FakeNewsMSM is still claiming otherwise, especially CNN which has NOAA and then a union guy’s quote, but then goes back to all the previous false allegations.

7 Sept: CNN: NOAA disavows National Weather Service tweet that refuted Trump’s claim Dorian was headed toward Alabama
by Kyle Feldscher; CNN’s Daniel Dale, Brandon Miller and Caroline Kelly contributed to this report.
In a statement attributed to an unnamed NOAA spokesperson, the agency said Trump had been given information from August 28 until Monday that Dorian could impact Alabama...
Dan Sobien, president of the National Weather Service Employees Organization, lambasted NOAA’s characterization of events and defended the agency’s employees...

Deep state brought out into the light as they try to undermine the elected government of the United States?

MSM reported all sorts of baloney about Katrina that was never retracted and is still considered as historical truth, but was totally fabricated. They love to pander and lie.

Now, when will NOAA purge the fake AGW data fudgers from its ranks?

Trump should get credit for diverting the storm away from Mar a Lago.

CNN and the other democrat media are already in a hole but just can’t resist the urge to keep on digging.

>>>Trump was RIGHT when he tweeted Sunday that Alabama may be impacted by Dorian

Actually - no - he wasn't. He actually got bad information from a coast guard admiral (Schultz). The forecast was very clear on Sunday what it was doing. Alabama was BARELY in the ERA map - but for that matter - so was the northern coast of CUBA! And if you look at it - more of CUBA was at risk than Alabama.

However-it really wasn't his fault - it was the fault of the person briefing him. He can't be expected to know what all the models are showing - etc. And on Sunday - all the models were showing a clear re-curve up the coast...even all the ensembles. Only one model even brought it to the coast - and it's a trash model. There was NO forecast putting any impacts into Alabama by any official forecast...only by people who don't know what they are doing (i.e. - non-meteorologists)

this information was easily accessible by the media - it was public information. The reports were intentionally false - either they knew full well the reports were false and found the information, or they simply decided to report it was false without doing any basic research simply because President Trump said it and they wanted to create another negative news story for the sake of doing so. In either case, the reports were lies. Just another example of fake news.

This seems like an extraordinary step due to the ginned up drama. It makes me wonder what happens during regular activities...like should statements like this be made about local offices but aren’t normally done

All this fuss about extending the cone out 1 day from people that tell us what the temperature is going to be in 80 years.

it’s a matter of record; there was early on TV broadcasts showing the eye of the storm crossing Florida into the Gulf of Mexico and a projected cone into the Alabama/Mississippi area. Look it up!!!

This is the stupidest “controversy” I’ve ever seen. The initial projections, when the storm was still off Puerto Rico, showed several models taking it across Florida and into the Gulf, where it would have hooked right and up through the Panhandle and Alabama. Even when the path shifted east there were still projections that took it right up the middle of Florida, which would still have impacted southeast Alabama. The President’s words at the time were accurate and meant to warn people to stay alert. Anyone who says differently is a partisan butthole.
