I asked Siri if she was self-aware last night. She said “I think so.” That’s an “I think therefore I am” kind of answer. Just about knocked me out of my chair.
Probably just programmed in by some dev with a sense of humor. We used to do that crap to Eliza all the time. Looking for goofy easter eggs. Siri will sing Daisy like HAL 9000 too. And will sing a good chunk of Bohemian Rhapsody if you provide the right line from the song. Dev’s get bored. They do weird things.
