He’s running to replace Pence
That makes zero sense. He brings nothing that Pence doesn't also provide and lacks the connections with the evangelical part of Trump's base that Pence has.
Unless Pence is really planning on jumping into the Kansas Senate race. If that's the case then he'd better do it soon. Roger Marshall just announced his candidacy and he'll start sucking up all the support.
