If he thinks the people will willing give up their guns, he surely didn’t pay attention to the registrations acts in NY and CT. There is about a 1% compliance in very deep blue states. There will be no voluntary disarming.
It amazes me that the entire cast on the dem side is running on taking away freedoms. They make it sound nice, but when you boil it down their entire platform is about removing liberty and freedom. When they run on a platform like that, they shouldn’t be surprised that the people are reminded about what the 2ndA was intended for. It was people like that.

The Dems are supported by people who consider freedom a burden; they want to be as dependent as possible and contribute as little as they can get away with. Communism is a death spiral but there are always fools who want to give it a whirl.
