United States President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter, Monday, "I know nothing about an Air Force plane landing at an airport (which I do not own and have nothing to do with) near Turnberry Resort (which I do own) in Scotland, and filling up with fuel, with the crew staying overnight at Turnberry (they have good taste!). NOTHING TO DO WITH ME."
He was responding to reports about where Vice President Mike Pence stayed during a recent trip to the United Kingdom. Dems are scandalized by anything that Republicans — especially Trump — do, no matter how trivial.
Egregious crimes by fellow Dems are ignored.
Funny, I don't remember the left criticizing Obama's travels.
Remember when Michelle Obama took an entire planeload of people to a resort in Spain, where her entourage and assorted hangers on enjoyed a girls weekend? We never learned who paid for that, and how much it cost. The media had no curiosity about that event.

I would be amazed if Trump did know about it. Probably some lower level flunky at the Pentagon trying to curry favor. But it’s important to end this now before the Dems can make a bigger stink about it.
Well at least this will take the “Dorian hits Alabama” and “SharpieGate” fake outrage off the front page!

Now if the Obama’s owned the place and Michelle did that, then there would be a question asked, although no one on the Republican side would probably care.
Some say it is for sale and Trump’s new pardner Spence was checking it out.
Others say Spence was meeting on the QT with Micky O’Brian and Nigel Farage to try to iron out post Brexit details regarding the Irish border.
Others say Spence was meeting with Prince William at the Queen’s request to provide details on immediate post Brexit trade arrangements.
On one of those diverts, we were lodged at the Turnberry. Way overpriced to have to share a bath with others on the same floor.

I sure hope Trump is not receiving reports on the where-abouts of every US plane!
As to his resort, he wound not be receiving reports on its operations.
The optics are bad. It looks like Trump's using his office to enrich himself when it's obvious that some underling made the decision. Once again Trump has been poorly served by his people.
