Bill Gates says he met with Epstein because he knew 'a lot of rich people'
The Hill ^ | 09/10/19 | John Bowden

Bill Gates in an interview published Tuesday defended his association with registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, describing his relationship with the disgraced financier as business-oriented.

Gates told The Wall Street Journal that he met with Epstein solely for his connections to other businessmen, adding that he did not attend the rumored parties at which Epstein was accused of preying on young girls.

"I met him. I didn’t have any business relationship or friendship with him. I didn’t go to New Mexico or Florida or Palm Beach or any of that," Gates told the Journal. "There were people around him who were saying, 'hey, if you want to raise money for global health and get more philanthropy, he knows a lot of rich people.' "

"Every meeting where I was with him were meetings with men. I was never at any parties or anything like that. He never donated any money to anything that I know about," Gates continued.

Bill Gates says he met with Epstein because he knew 'a lot of rich people'

...and poor underage girls separated from their families or any guardian figure.

I don't know Gates involvement level, but this is what we're talking about after all.

Bill's no dummy, and it would be rather shocking if he hadn't heard of Epstein's escapades. Everyone else had.

Business oriented?

Funny business? Shady business? Pedo-businesss?

There are many types of business. There are a lot of business people in the U.S. and around the world, but, there was/is only one type of business that people reached out to Epstein about.

Maybe it was research for a future release of MS-Grope?

Has anyone ever figured out exactly what “business” Epstein was in?

Other than his ability to blackmail the richest people in the world, he didn’t seem to have any visible means of support.

Did anyone ask Gates what possible business connection he would have had with Epstein? He certainly didn’t run a company with 10,000 computers.

You don’t violate your high standards, I see. Lol, yeah you do, we all do, right? But your flag of virtue is no false witness. My thinking is that’s a silly notion to apply while at war.

How about, then, would you, maybe, refrain from defending a leftist? Is that okay?

Not being one to criticize without offering a solution.. perhaps instead of apologia change the topic slightly so you can trash the leftist in question in good conscious.

High standards? I wouldn’t say not calling a man a child rapist on a whim high standards. Enjoy the gutter.

Well, someone probably could have asked the detective that investigated Epstein, but that’s not possible anymore.

I look at how Bill Gates made a large part of his money early on (patent poaching against small players who didn’t have the money to successfully defend their intellectual property against Microsoft’s lawyer corps in the court system) and nothing he could be accused of now strikes me as improbable. But then I followed the court cases back in the early and mid eighties.

As far as I’m concerned, if someone is ‘rich’ or wealthy etc. that’s the person who gets EXTRA scrutiny!!

Change ‘Bill Gates’ to ‘Donald Trump’ and you sound like a leftist.

I am no big fan of Bill Gates’ politics but unless proven elsewise, I would believe that Gates was interested in meeting other billionaires, to try and get them to donate to some of his charities. If there is other evidence beyond ‘guilt by association’, that could change my mind.

People who get to the level of wealth and power, often will spend more and more time on their philanthropic endeavours. Are you familiar with the ‘Carnegie’ library that likely exists in your city. (I’ve lived in Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton, among other cities. All three have libraries that were funded by Andrew Carnegie’s philanthropy. Doubtless there are hundreds in the US.) Carnegie made his wealth in steel production.

Yeah. I look at the Great and Wondrous Constitutional Dream Team Attorney Dershowitz and think, if that old ugly schmuck could act better than us on Fox News and still have many sexual encounters with an enslaved 16 year old girl, you can’t trust any of these guys.

STFU Gates! The world of billionaires is very very small and everyone knew Epstein was a complete pervert years ago.
