Many of them still will - designer clothes/hangbags, private schools for the kids, luxury vacations, mega mansion, etc. Women, especially ones under 45, seem to just absolutely be obsessed with shopping and spending money.
Someone once said on the difference between sexes:
A man will pay $10 for a $5 item he needs.
A woman will pay $10 for a $20 item she doesn't need.
