It was warmer and we had thunder showers here in NoVa today. I remember the weather that day, 18 years ago, as perfect as could be for a September day.
At 8 AM who could have imagined that such beautiful clear skies were about to be marred with such ugliness, hatred, and EVIL?
Same in NYC suburbia: Bright blue skies and near autumn temps.
I live in New Jersey. One thing I will always remember on that horrible day was how stunningly and so strikingly blue the sky was. It made the smoke and flames all the more horrid and ugly.
