U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official.

McCabe appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to the deputy attorney general, but the department rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Here’s CNN’s first comment:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/12/politics/andrew-mccabe-justice-department/index.html

It makes me chuckle the writing that CNN has to be doing right now, to shape and massage one of their own, likely to be a convicted felon for lying.

"Waiting for the first one to turn state’s evidence in exchange for immunity."

Nice theory, but we're conservatives -- you know, the ones who believe in the rule of law and justice, etc.? It never seems to go well for us.

If McCabe is offered immunity, it will be carelessly implemented by 'our side', allowing him to not provide enough substance against this gang of common criminals to put a single one of them behind bars, and the whole kit-and-caboodle of them -- including immune-McCabe -- will be free as birds, singing against Trump on cable networks going into election night 2020.

I'm a conservative and a Detroit Lions fan. (Can't help it -- I grew up here.) I feel like such a loser all the time...

The DC jury convicted Libby after they were told he didn’t leak anything. A DC jury did not convict people who rioted, despite being on video.

I don’t think treason will fly. Read the Constitution.

>>> This is basically about him leaking to the press <<<

..: Then lying about it repeatedly to investigators.

It’s the fact that D.C. is a company town. Everybody’s livelihood depends on the Swamp...

**************

Dead on accurate comment. Everyone is DC is bellying up to the trough of money that is made possible by the influx of a never ending stream of tax dollars. That’s what DC (the District of Corruption) is all about.

Agreed. The OJ jury ushered in juries who protect their team members. We cannot survive with juries who distribute inequal justice.

His lawyers leaked it. They received an email from the DOJ stating that the DAG was rejecting his lawyers last ditch reasoning on why he should not be indicted.

McCabe is pleading with DoJ “Don’t prosecute me, I’m not ready to commit suicide!”

You missed the questioning of Kavanaugh on military tribunals, didn’t you?

Hey Andy, where’s your deep state buddies now that you really need them?

The left’s always running schemes and this one’s called scapegoating.

Bribery is a powerful thing, and DC is a one-stop-shop for anyone looking for someone to bribe.

People think it’s the legitimate seat of government - really it’s just a bunch of people looking to get bribed, and a bunch more looking for someone to bribe.

Just head to K street... You got your law firms to guide the process of red tape through the bureaucracy so you won’t do anything illegal. You got your bankers so the money can be untraceable. You got your fancy hotels, restaurants and high end prostitutes to wine and dine. You got your PR consultants and press whores to sell it to the public. You got your convention centers to put on corporate dog and pony shows.

And last but not least, you got your for-sale legislators lined up at the feeding trough, ready and willing to vote whatever you want into law if the price is right.

“But will anything come of this?”

Who are you kiddin’?

The GOP et.al. is like f’n F Troop; they couldn’t score a KIA if they were fully-armed and surrounded by a flagging, inferior force. A single shot in any direction would do, but NONE of them have the stones to just f’n pull a damned trigger!

I expect exactly ZILCH from this, and those who start salivating that, “Oh, oh, oh — here it comes! This is the prelude; the first domino to fall...” All they’re gonna end up with is f’n heartburn, and another fresh pool of lava-hot disdain for the eGOP and their feckless ilk.

Check the timestamp on this post, and put it on your calendar. I’ll eat a dirty gym sock if any leftist in Washington DC ever gets imprisoned because of this.

Last I knew DC was predominately black.

Here in DC we all get to do jury duty. And the racial balance in DC has "diversified."
