Not really, but it would be good for FReepers in the area to show up.
Not sure I understand the point of posting that Twitter exchange... are they still at each other’s throats as they were in 2013? If not, what’s the point, here?
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
I’d buy a ticket just to see Michelle, one of the most gorgeous journalists alive.
I think you are confusing it. This has to be in Rockville, at the very building housing the rulers of said Monty Co. DC would be too far and pointless.
This is worth supporting.
Will be there tomorrow.
In August we had 7 sexual assaults by illegals, 3 victims were kids. Some of us are fed up and then some.
.
Please report on what happens.
Demand that Elrich and the County Council serve the citizens instead of front groups like CASA of Maryland and the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Yes please report.
Rarely does something like this happen in MD. Too bad my semester has started. I mightve gone down to the neighboring county.
I met her at a DC Freep outside CBS. She was there in a baseball cap with her kids. As I was walking to the Metro, I stopped, looked, and said, “You’re Michelle Malkin.”
She acknowledged she was, and I said “Nice to meet you. I enjoy your column.” She thanked me, and I continued on my way.
Sorry this ping is so late coming — was not aware until just now. Get there if you can.
Thanks for the ping.
I was there. Good time.
Great! From photos I’ve seen it looks like it was a successful protest with a large turnout.
It was a great crowd today. People were not exactly angry but close. I’d say more passionately concerned. (And really sweet to each other)
Larry O’Conner did a wonderful job!!
Speakers were a couple of safe border activist, an Asian legal immigrant who discussed how hard her parents worked to get their family here (talked to her after the rally. She reeealy loves this country.)
Other speakers were Tom Fitton, (me and the people around me all thought he referenced Judicial Watch getting active in this MoCo mess), Sebastian Gorka, and Michelle Malkin
But the best speaker was an Angel Wife. (I think her last name was Wolfe.) I was teary eyed after her speech and Michelle Malkin hugged her right after. She looked teary eyed too.
I think an added hoot was meeting a contributor to the Washington Time. She was a black women, in her 60’s, wearing a bike helmet. I asked her “You road your bike here?!! She said “Heck no, I just prepared for the worse!” LOL!
As far as the other side..... Not too many people, some Casa de Maryland, a few youngings that should have been at work or school, and a bunch of old hippies. Banging drums, blowing in whistles and ringing cow bells ESPECIALLY when the Angel Wife was talking.
Ran into a few people I’ve met through work who I had no idea were Republicans.
We had American flags, THEY DIDN’T.
Thank you for that on site report!!
I wonder if any other FReepers attended.
