I recall when it came to light that the Westboro Baptist Church founder was a Democrat donor to Al Gore. The media was always portraying those nuts as right-wing conservatives, when all they are is a bunch of provocateur lawyers scamming to provoke the kinds of reactions from the public which they can use to sue city and county governments.
When I was TDY for a couple of months at Camp Frank D Merrill (Mountain Ranger Camp) (As opposed to when I was going through Mountain Phase of Ranger Training and had no time for sightseeing) I found Dalhonega to be a delightful, pleasant, quiet place. I even considered living there.
Of course this was back in the early 1970s. Maybe the area has changed since then. Back then, I'd never have imagined people screeching at each other in the town streets.
It’s called free speech and assembly.
These guys are in favor of breathing and Trump. AOC is in favor of breathing, as are satanists. So we all have some things in common. Doesn’t mean we agree on other important things. Chill.
I agreed with you up until you told me to chill and decided to step on my free speech with hypocritical self righteousness.
While free speech and assembly for their pet cause is a right, I have no problem with that. But taking down Trump and the rest of us with ignorant ideology is not a right I will support, find acceptable, or associate with.
Once again, any half way intelligent conservative would denounce and disassociate from these groups. Guilt by association is a real thing. Someone has to be the adult in the room.
