I watched their meeting. It was very civil. I think they were surprised to learn that Cruz had tried to get some legislation through to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and mentally ill, by enforcing agencies to report them and punishing those that lie on the application. Basically what’s already supposed to happen but isn’t enforced.
That’s the thing, the Democrats don’t want to enforce what’s already there, they want to criminalize legal gun industry and owners.
Biden said, a few years back, that they do not have time to enforce gun laws. So what is the use of new gun laws if they won’t enforce the old ones.
