THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK
Sowing a thought reaps an act. Sowing an act reaps a habit. Sowing a habit reaps a character. Sowing a character reaps a destiny. The battle for the soul and the very essence of life goes on in our thought life. We are what we think (Proverbs 23:7). What we think, therefore, needs protection and can be controlled. II Corinthians 10:5 tells us to bring every thought into captivity. Good thoughts will produce good habits. For believers there are four keys in helping to develop good habits: 1. Follow God's Word daily, because it is the only infallible guide. 2. Pray, because prayer bears fruit (John 15:8). 3. Have a proper view of possessions and wealth, because most of our sins are related to greed and pride. 4. Love each other, because love is a daily choice that will revive you from within your person. It all starts with thoughts. Remember, sowing your thoughts reaps acting. Sowing action reaps habits. Sowing habits reaps your character. And sowing your character reaps YOUR destiny!

To: All
Dear God: I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman, Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Reservist, National Guardsman, or Merchant Marine feel alone or forgotten.
O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is loving kindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
Psalm 130:7 & 8

September 15Unity
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3
In 1722 a small group of Moravian Christians, who lived in what is now the Czech Republic, found refuge from persecution on the estate of a generous German count. Within four years, more than 300 people came. But instead of an ideal community for persecuted refugees, the settlement became filled with discord. Different perspectives on Christianity brought division. What they did next may seem like a small choice, but it launched an incredible revival: They began to focus on what they agreed on rather than on what they disagreed on. The result was unity.
The apostle Paul strongly encouraged the believers in the church in Ephesus to live in unity. Sin would always bring trouble, selfish desires, and conflict in relationships. But as those who were made alive with Christ the Ephesians were called to live out their new identity in practical ways (Ephesians 5:2). Primarily, they were to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace (4:3).
This unity isnt just simple camaraderie achieved through human strength. We are to be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love (v. 2). From a human perspective, its impossible to act in this way. We cant reach unity through our own power but through Gods perfect power that is at work within us (3:20).
By: Estera Pirosca Escobar
Reflect & Pray
How are you experiencing division or unity in your community of faith? What efforts can you make in Gods strength to keep the unity of the Spirit?
Father, You who are over all and through all and in all, live among us in such a way that unity will be present.

I went to a Baby Shower today, and took the car because i had presents to bring. It was a good thing I didn’t take the bike, as it POURED.
The leaves are starting to change color, so I guess that means that Autumn is here!

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Autumn is official on the 23rd...
It was windy this morning and brought down most all the leaves that have already turned. Still lots of green ones, tho.
