Thanks, more proof that bird shot in a shotgun is very effective at close range, against bad guys in our homes.

Buy our wives/lady friends a 20 gauge pump or semi automatic with an improved cylinder barrel. Then, back her up with your 12 gauge pump or Remington or Bennelli semi auto with a short and improved cylinder barrel. Load those guns with 7 1/2 bird shot.

Between the two of you, a herd of bad guys can become shredded meat/bones in seconds. The lucky ones will be the DOA thugs. The survivors will probably die from shock and septicemia after a painful few days.

Also, you will not endanger your neighbors close by or hundreds of yards away with a high power rifle bullet going through several walls to kill or maim them.
