And I would say that if you think this subject is the least bit amusing you’re a fool. My brother contracted both Lyme disease and ehrlychiosis from ticks, both of which were mis-diagnosed by doctors - supposedly “specialists” - until it was too late for him. He was a physical trainer and a helluva good guy who died at 57.

Moreover, if you think it’s nonsensical that the government would do such a thing, you need to educate yourselves on the Tuskegee Experiment, Atomic Veterans, which occurred in the 1930s and 40s. Look at what the government/deep state has been doing more recently and tell me it’s beyond comprehension or, to quote Hillary Clinton, “...requires the suspension of disbelief.”

I do not take Lyme Disease lightly. A friend of mine died by and large due to his contraction of Lyme disease. After ten years in pain and declining quality of life he walked out into his back yard with his pistol and shot himself in the head. He was 72.

You are right. Tick diseases are serious. They can kill you or cripple you for life. I am so sorry your brother was a victim of ticks and incompetent doctors. I am dealing with untreated tick illness and am miserable beyond description. This is a no joke situation. The deer population has exploded. They are serious vectors for ticks. We also have “Bobcat fever” here that is tick-borne. It is killing our pet cats. In fact I am treating one of mine now. Highly fatal disease. Used to never see it, now it is rampant. Dogs are dying or being diabled by tick infections same as humans. Something is going on.

Amusing? I contracted Lyme disease about 10 years ago. (I suspect it was while staying in a rustic cabin near Dingmans Ferry, Pa.) I had the tell-tale bullseye rash but was misdiagnosed. I then went to a specialist and was properly diagnosed and took the prescribed course of antibiotics. I was fortunate. So far, the only consequence I can attribute to Lyme is coming down with shingles about a year later. No harm done but really depressing. I was 42 years old.

You really should read Plum Island, Gold Coast, The Gate House, Charm School, Up Country, Night Fall and all the novels of Nelson DeMille. He's really good!
