If this attack was real then it’s pretty bold. I hope that all of our forces in the area are on high alert. Sure is strange that right after Bolton “resigned” that this attack took place. What could that mean? Did the Iranians overplay their card and think that with him gone that there would be no appetite for a conflict? I think the Iranians are crazy and they have a history of taking hostages and subverting Iraq and Lebanon. They have worked through their proxies to wreck havoc everywhere from Hamas to Yemen and Hezbollah killing our Marines. I wouldn’t care if a few of their cities got smoked off the map. The only problem is that they have the new anti aircraft missiles from Russia. Better to use cruise missiles and drones.

I am quite curious to see the real evidence. Everything that moves in the air should be on American radar in the Middle East. I want to see those drone and missile tracks from beginning to end. All of them.
Then, we can encourage the Saudis to defend themselves properly.
There was no appetite for a conflict with Bolton there. This is what appetite for a conflict looks like:
"the President is hereby authorized and directed to employ the entire naval and military forces of the United States and the resources of the Government to carry on war against the Islamic Republic of Iran; and, to bring the conflict to a successful termination, all the resources of the country are hereby pledged by the Congress of the United States.
Get that or go home.
