Ah, yes, another pure emotional outburst by another one without a clue. FreeRepublic used to be mostly populated by well informed, educated men and women.
Let me educate you in somewhat of a chronological order.
Note: this is not a comprehensive list. Just a WELL KNOWN List for people who are even somewhat informed.
1)Beirut Lebanon: Marine Barracks bombed by Iranian Proxy group. 241 Marines killed.
2)US Embassy in Beirut Bombed by Iranian Proxy group. 17 killed.
3)Mines placed in the Straits of Hormuz, 10 US Navy sailors killed.
4)Khobar Towers, I ranian backed group Hezbollah bombing. 19 killed. 372 seriously or gravely wounded.
5)USS Cole Bombing. 17 Killed. 39 seriously or gravely wounded
6) Iran aided and abetted 9/11 hijackers. US and World Courts charged Iran with material aid to 9-11 terrorists.
It is not very well publicized that there was an Iranian connection to the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing. Jayna Davis wrote a great book, The Third Terrorist that laid it all out. The FBI blew her off.
Fewer men than died at Normandy on June 6th 1944.
