Im not sure why there is so much resistance on the Right to running conservatives as Democrats in traditionally Democratic primary races. Liberals have been planting their own in Republican primaries for decades, now - and they now hold a fair percentage of GOP offices. We seem to think it is somehow dishonest to play the game that way.
The party label is not important - getting the right minds into office is.
