Impeach him on the grounds that he's too good to be President. 😊

Trump carries $20 bills for tips. Not bad. Most people would carry smaller bills for tips. I doubt if he gives $20 bills to hotel staff and asks for change.

Years ago I worked for a MA newspaper which covered one of the younger Kennedys (Joseph P. III I think). Kennedy was campaigning and went into a bakery and shook hands, and ordered a bunch of stuff. It was time to pay and he basically did a pantomime of reaching for his wallet before announcing that he had, in fact, forgotten his wallet -- but he'd pay them "next time".
The owner took back the bag of baked goods and said, "I'll give you the food next time, then."

I once heard JFK NEVER carried money (even before being president) always bummed off someone else. Don’t know if it’s true or not.

It’s a good idea. I carry a wallet with my ID, a debit card, a credit card, and my Amex and I use the credit card to pay for everyday expenses.
But I also carry a money clip with cash for minor incidental expenses and tips, too. Carrying some cash is a great idea.

CNN: Trump enjoys taunting hard working hotel employees with pictures of his huge house. OMG, now that was funny.

I’ve always been confused about hotel room cleaning, ie tipping. We leave a room about as clean as we found it, except the bed/s...and of course the bathroom has been used, but not badly....but isn’t it their JOB to clean the room? We generally never see the room cleaners or ask for other services either....

but isnt it their JOB to clean the room?same can be said for hundreds of "jobs" that expect tips. Cab drivers, waitstaff, lawn mowers, hotel bag staff, and on and on. Almost everyone wants a tip these days. I tip great service.

I agree....but I’m talking about “room service” which basically is invisible....the people AFTER we stay may see it....we do not. (If we request “room service” while we are staying in the room, yes, I could see a tip). Or, are we tipping for a clean room when we ARRIVE? (Lately, unfortunately, rooms have not been very clean...at least not to my standards.)

Liberals are known for not leaving tips... or being stingy when ‘people aren’t watching’... Beto gave so little to charity that even some in the press were embarrassed...

Hillary was notorious for stiffing waitresses during the campaign.
I remember they interviewed one of the waitresses, and she said, despite that, she would still vote for Hillary.....idiot!

I don't always follow the norm. If I get a super-cheap lunch special, I'll leave a 25% tip if service was good. If service is uninspired, I leave 15% or even a little less if it's a high-end meal. Can't see why a person in the easier job should be rewarded with more revenue. I always hand the tip directly to the person serving me. No danger that they have to claim it or share it that way.
I do tip generously the ladies who come in once a month to do housework. That's just common sense. They have access to my stuff, and I'd prefer they treat it respectfully and honestly. Another thing I've started doing. If I stay at a hotel multiple nights, I leave a tip each day. It gets to the folks actually doing the cleaning that way, and they reward me with good service.
Tipping...it's an art AND a science!
