It has been my thought for some time, with no basis except a gut feeling, that the convention will have 4 or 5 ballots with no winner.
On the next ballot, the 5th or 6th, Hillary will be put forward and will win.
Certainty yields a better feeling than anxiety and uncertainty and so she will win.
I think I am influenced by a visit to the home of President James K Polk. The graduate student giving the two person tour advised that the convention got hung up and out of the blue, Polk was nominated and won.
(A visit to Polk’s Columbia Tennessee home is perhaps not worth the effort unless perhaps you are visiting President’s homes and thus Polk is on the list to be checked off)
We tend to think history before the internet is irrelevant but you could make a pretty good argument that all the internet has accomplished in regard to informing voters is make them stupid. 100 years ago when you had to read a paper to be informed people IMHO were MUCH better informed.
