New Zealand is full of sheep. America is not.
That is a literal and figurative statement.
I wouldn't be so fast to label New Zealanders as "sheep".
From July 2019 from Reason.com online:
As of last week, only around 700 weapons had been turned over. There are an estimated 1.5 million gunswith an unknown number subject to the new prohibition on semiautomatic firearmsin the country overall.
Traditionally relaxed in its approach to firearms regulation, and enjoying a low crime rate, New Zealand has no firearms registration rule. That means authorities have no easy way of knowing what guns are in circulation or who owns them.
These weapons are unlikely to be confiscated by police because they don't know of their existence," Philippa Yasbek of Gun Control NZ admitted. "These will become black-market weapons if their owners choose not to comply with the law and become criminals instead.
It sounds like civil disobedience is alive and well in New Zealand.
Ah, New Zealand! Where the men are men and the sheep are nervous.
In only one more generation, the number of sheep will resemble the rest of the world unless the educational establishment is confronted by their turning education into brainwashing.
The problem is that when the Democrats talk about “Common Sense” ban on assault weapons, they probably mean a ban on any semiautomatic weapon. A lot of younger folks and those who still believe the police will be there for them in time of need and the government will be able to prevent the flow of thousands of illegal firearms coming across our borders.
