While boarding Air Force One during a fundraising swing through California, President Trump was photographed with multiple $20 bills visible in his back pocket.
The photo, taken at Moffett Federal Airfield in Mountain View by Reuters photographer Tom Brenner on Tuesday, quickly went viral.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on his return flight to Washington on Wednesday night, the president was asked about the photo and if he normally carries loose cash in his pocket.
“I do! I do!” Trump said, pulling a large wad of cash from the right back pocket of his pants and holding it up for the press cabin to see, according to a White House pool report.

I want to see the picture of him holding up the wad of $20 bills to show to the reporters. That would get him a bunch of black votes! (He did raise $15 million while in California, but that would be a bit much to carry.)

His timing is impeccable, who else would have thought to carry loose cash, we all know how all these Pols are known to ‘stiff’ vendors, waiters and the common folk.

Imo, the “Progressive” Left & “the Never Trumpers” have completely LOST IT & that’s IF they ever had it.

Unlike JFK and most really rich types who rarely carry more than change and sometimes no ID at all. Understand wealthy guys don't want people to be putting the touch on them for $50 or $100 but JFK used to ask people such as Capitol Policemen to ‘pay the cabby, I'll send someone down later’. Which didn't happen unless the cop button holed Dr. Travell, who would stop and relay the request to be paid (unlike Ted Sorenson who refused even to look at or take note of such lesser beings as policemen.)

I said, hey, great for you, you got to feed the WH (and a bunch of their folks).
Told me it took a LONG TIME to get his money from the Obama administration.

The difference is, this is probably our money.

All of the ordinary people in the US carry some cash with them.
And, he never stiffs anyone if he has cash with him.

Fwiw, I used to “eat out” constantly, as I spent a great amount of my career on military TDY.
(In those years, I had a “real yen” for a home-cooked meal.)
Consequently, I’ve known a LOT of waiters/waitresses/hostesses, etc. in many US cities.
I personally have heard from several servers, over the last 3 decades, that DJT is known to be a “heavy tipper” & often leave 35% or more of the total bill behind in cash. - Further, the people who have served him think that he’s GREAT as a customer. = DJT was well-known before he was the POTUS to be a “nice & polite customer”.
Otoh, HRC, “Suckie Chuckie” Schumer, “Nanny” Pelosi & (in general) “Progressives”/LIBs seem to think that “the little people” should “feel PRIVILEGED” to serve them & are “known by the little people” to be “CHEAP”, “DIFFICULT” & at best “hard to please”.
(I remind everyone that even the major TV networks reported that HRC’s “party” often “STIFFED” the restaurant for the whole bill during the 2012 campaign season & SELDOM left any tip at all for the wait-staff.)

I... I... I think I'm going to faint.
I like tipping....I tip coins from coin collection, giving waiters or waitresses a choice between a regular current currency tip or a old coin. It is always a good time for us both.
Outside of DC, in rural areas, probably over 95-percent of guys carry around $200 on themselves. I don’t see the big deal about loose cash or making this a big deal.
