You could say that keeping Iran from getting nukes would be the duty of the President to defend the U.S.. All you have to do is destroy one of their refineries. You don’t have to go all out. I’m partial to the destruction of military equipment. SAMs, ships, aircraft, ammo dumps - things that cost more than the munitions used. Heck - take down highways, bridges, power stations, dams, water purification facilities.
