I think it’s time for republicans and other fair-minded Americans, and perhaps under an executive order from Trump, to create the alternatives to Twitter and Google and Facebook. It could start as a government project, with the eventual ownership by those not being represented by Google and Twitter and Facebook and Yahoo, and other left-wing sites.

I hate government intrusion and involvement in our lives, but then, Google and Twitter and Facebook and Yahoo, are basically operated by people who represent the left-wingers that would have our government fully controlled by left-wing politicians. If they can get away with what they’re doing, the alternate voices will be silenced completely.

“It could start as a government project”

And here lies a problem, when was the last time government could be trusted, let alone trusted to do something right. It has never happened and probably never will.

Too complicated. Just compel them to allow commentary that doesn’t organize or incite criminal acts.

All the while people cry out "someone spould create an alternative to there have been several that have come and gone. They have gone because no one is interested in investing in them. Its the NIMBYism of the interent. Always someone else must do it and it must be an instant success before it rolls out. Twitter took years to get to where it was. So did FB. Proper marketing takes time and money and neither of those are in abundance right now for the so-called alternative social media apps. The only solution would be to remove social media at this juncture.
