The American Left, which manifests itself in the Democrat Party, is no different than the Communist and Socialist Left of the 20th century.
They are just as diabolical, just as authoritarian, and just as adept at convincing young people that their political ideology is the way forward.
Rich people shouldn’t be rich. It’s not fair that someone has something you don’t have. You have every right to their stuff because we’re ALL supposed to be “equal!”
Or some such BS.
What the lying Democrat socialist commies never say is that people who earned what they have should keep what they have, and that “equality” in America really means equality of opportunity.
But getting that reality across to young people is difficult — unless you are one of them.

Yep. Every would-be totalitarian starts with the same notion. Give us control and we’ll take the rich people’s stuff and give it to you. What they don’t tell the poor people is that when the rich people’s stuff runs out, everyone will be powerless to resist the iron boot of said control

It’s not just the party it’s those who vote for them,they have to be elected to do what they want to do.
What they don’t tell the poor people is that the new bosses will keep the rich people’s stuff for themselves and that the poor people will be worse off than they were before.
True. That’s why so many are into government - they figure it’s the easy way to grab a fortune. What frosts me is they prey on the poor to do it. What kind of so-called human being does that? Oh, that’s right - Democrats.

My little girls were 4 and 1 when I became a single dad.
I recall explaining to them the socialism was like them studying hard and getting and “A”; however, they would be forced to share some of that with someone who did not study and got an “F” with the result being both got a “C”.
As grade school age, they clearly understood that concept.
