Very interesting, especially since our society is moving into a situation in which the left deems many topics beyond discussion ("the science is settled," etc.), and more and more ideas cannot be expressed (e.g., criticism of Islam or any aspect of the LGBTQ agenda).

Ironically, when a leftist says "we need to have a discussion," or a "national discussion," he doesn't really mean it; he means that he will TELL US what the problem is, and what the solution is, and we will LISTEN.

For years I’ve been telling my friends and relatives to avoid using leftist euphemisms such as this, and there are MANY others that should never be used. “Gay”, for example, comes readily to mind. And related to this “euphemism” problem is how AP, the NYSlimes, and other leftist print publications use certain words to mislead readers and avoid using certain words for the same reason.

How often could we rely on a TV station to say something like, "countryside youths bored with no work used fuel to attack pedestrians late Friday night. Law enforcement knowlegeable about the case believe the youths were Playing the Carl Lewis Game."

How many people here think TV reporters would say that even one time..?

will never be punished in Maryland. The court records
