Were conservatives young people doing something that bothered and killed libs, do you think their political people would be so stupid as to use OUR phrase for that activity, if it included the words PLAY and GAME..?

It’s similar to you blowing it by saying “assault rifle”; is it wise for you to use the terms that the enemy selects FOR you to use..?
Do you hear libs ever say, “pro-life” or in fact do you instead hear them every time re-arrange your term totally to “pro choice”?

Yes, it’s being presented as a “game” gone tragically wrong. In the same vein as someone dying from being hit by a foul ball. The ‘teens’ are no more guilty than the batter. Move along, there’s nothing to see here.

For years I’ve been telling my friends and relatives to avoid using leftist euphemisms such as this, and there are MANY others that should never be used. “Gay”, for example, comes readily to mind. And related to this “euphemism” problem is how AP, the NYSlimes, and other leftist print publications use certain words to mislead readers and avoid using certain words for the same reason.
It’s not a “game”, it’s murder.
