They would have been a dominant Olympic team years ago if the IOC allowed those great professional players of the past in the Olympics ... like Abe Ruth, Shlomo DiMaggio, Mordecai Mantle and Pete Rosenstein. :-P

There was an article about the Israeli team in the WSJ a few weeks ago. The team is mostly American Jews who have dual citizenship. Nothing wrong with that, though. Mazel tov!
