With regard to Ocare, my impression is the Freedom Caucus didn’t like the alternative. IIRC, there was bill that passed the House, but rejected by the Senate (thanks to McCain), but I don’t remember the details of the bill that failed.
The garbage bill called Obamacare repeal was not good at all. The FC was correct. This was a muddled half measure concocted by Paul Ryan and the insurance companies to keep most of it in place.
