It is this simple. If it moves the ball towards our goal do it. If not, don’t. Every play does not have to score.

Your insistence that every play scores is infantile.

The Libs don’t do that. They move the ball on every play towards their goal. Any gutting of Odumbo care was moving the ball towards our goal. Insisting that it be 100% gutted or you are taking your ball and going home is just plain stupid. Fighting for that goal is not stupid, but insisting that every play score is. Move the damn ball. Next play you have less distance to the goal.

The problem with that analogy is that politics isn’t football. In football the goals don’t move. In politics, everybody with an agenda (and that’s everybody) can and will move them.

The point you are missing about Obamacare is that the GOP donor class wants socialized medicine every bit as much as the Democrats do. Socializing the expenses of health care has been a dream of formerly American now multi national corporations for decades.

Like open borders the GOP spends near all its energy trying to dupe GOP voters into thinking that is not the case instead of fighting Democrats on the issues.
