The ACA replacement bill passed the House. The Freedom Caucus grandstanded, as they always do, but couldn’t stop it.


I’m aware of the history of Obamacare.

I’m results oriented. I don’t really care where Obamacare repeal died. The bottom line is the Republican party promised for years they would repeal it. And they did not. The GOP own that. All of them. Period.

The ACA replacement bill wasn’t a repeal at all. In fact, it was a political mess that wasn’t going to do a damn thing to fix the underlying flaws of the ACA.

That’s why the GOP got its ass kicked in the 2018 midterms. A lot of voters simply recognized that the Republicans in Congress had been nothing more than grandstanding dopes who never had any intention of overturning ObamaCare all along.
