I do not belive that to be the case. Barr was chosen by President Trump because he was most qualified for the job and would do the best job for the President

I firmly beieve that barr was chosen by mcconnel. mcconnel told Trump barr was the only guy the congress would approve. barr is a bush man and has a well established past within the deep state.

Agree. And I believe a lot of these “Trump judges” are in fact McConnell judges, too. Given that, I am not counting my MAGA chickens on them just yet.

William Barr was selected as AG for one simple reason:

He has long been a champion for an independent executive branch in the U.S. government as laid out in the Constitution. That's why his oversight of Mueller was done according to the letter of the regulations, NOT the "letter of the law." There is no Federal statute that governs a special counsel in the DOJ. It's explicitly set up under an internal DOJ regulation.

Yes. Trump has little choice in whom he chooses, proving he can’t do anything about the oligarchy. The only other conclusion would be that Trump was owned by them. Either way, We, the People, are last in line for any say in how we are governed. Sad but true.
