Cokie Roberts the award-winning journalist and author died a few days ago of complications from breast cancer. I dont wish that death upon anyone, and having had several breast cancer scares of my own, and having gone through the experience with my mother, I am more than upset that we still havent kicked this diseases ass.
Journalist Linda Ellerbee is also upset. Shes upset that she and Cokie Roberts came up together in the business, were both the same age when Roberts passed, and both got breast cancer. Ellerbee has lost her friend to this disease, so I can understand her rage. What I dont get is that apparently, once again its all the fault of the BADORANGEMAN.
You see, Ellerbee and Roberts began their careers together, and to hear Ellerbee describe it, women journalists in the 70s were back-benchers who didnt always get the best stories. Although women generally didnt rise to the highest of echelons in journalism back then, Roberts didnt suffer from that setback, and was referred to as one of NPRs founding mothers. But Ellerbee is intent on portraying Cokie Roberts as a fellow fighter who had to overcome those challenges, instead of a privileged child of two US Congressional representatives, who led a pretty charmed life doing what she loved.

Now she's just a bitter old hag.
I remember Linda Ellerbee from after-midnight TV about 35 years ago. IIRC, one night she hinted that she might not be wearing anything under the desk at which she sat.
Both were/are tax eating communist agitprop. Good riddance.
I guess that’s what Republicans do. They go around giving people cancer.
That’s entered the public consciousness of Libtards ever since the Romney Campaign failed to challenge it.
Linda Ellerbee never had much more than the skin she was in and a pair of glasses. Yet it should never be forgotten that their was a substantial, vapid audience that listened to her nonsense.
Linda is all for the termination of innocent life while at the same time bemoaning the death of a 75 year old leftist friend because her 75 years on earth wasn’t long enough.
Huh, how about that. There are some people, that after seeing their POV in print, I simply ignore. had always thought “Cokie” was a guy.
I’m sure 5 other domestic enemies are clamoring to be the next Hussein Head Extraordinaire Against America and all for which we stand.
WHO is Linda SpellingBee?
NEVER heard of her.
MSM leftie who was not quite good enough at hiding the agenda while promoting it.
She used to have a “news” show on Nickelodeon in the early 90s.
Thankfully I discovered AM talk radio at that age, so I saw how slanted she was.
I also remember she did some show for kids or teens?
No loss.
Linda Ellerbee Lost Her Mind
She had a mind? Who knew?
I liked a show she had in the mid 80’s with Ray Gandolf called “Our World”. Each show would focus on the events of one year, sort of like a time capsule. A similar show is on the Decades over-the-air channel.
...”I am more than upset that we still havent kicked this diseases (cancer) ass...”
We spend liberally on a cure for AIDS, a disease contracted by a freely chosen life style but are parsimonious with our battle with cancer. What a concept.
I remember Linda saying, or it’s a line from one of her books, that went something like “News not reported. It’s modeled by entertainers with blow dried brains”
Liberals are addicted to lionizing one another. In the meantime-they’re some of the most flawed, immature and self-important clowns on earth!
Just incredible the sense of self importance these hacks who call themselves journalists have.
And so it goes.
Ellerbee doesnt mention DJT except to recall a sign she saw at his inauguration.
Even the example Hernandez uses about cancer research funding is projection and speculation.
