(CNN)When President Donald Trump admitted this weekend that in a July phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky he did, in fact, raise "corruption" accusations against his 2020 political rival Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden -- he effectively turned up the volume on calls for his own impeachment.
"We don't want our people like Vice President Biden and his son creating to the corruption already in the Ukraine," Trump told reporters in describing the call. (There is no evidence of wrongdoing by either Joe or Hunter Biden.) And Monday, sources told CNN that White House officials are considering releasing a transcript of Trump's call with Zelensky.
Now House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Adam Schiff, normally reticent about impeachment, says that if a whistleblower complaint that was revealed last week shows Trump tying military aid to Ukraine to Ukraine probing the Bidens, "we may very well have crossed the Rubicon" on impeachment. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi spoke of "a grave new chapter in lawlessness."

Nixon had an inferiority complex versus his enemies, specifically the Kennedys. It’s the press he had a bone to pick with, just like Trump. The press hated Nixon and Bush 43 as they tried to make peace with their enemies. Trump fights back.
They still don’t have the votes.
When was Adam Schiff ever reticent regarding impeachment? CNN must think that its viewer is a real dolt.
CNN KNOWS its viewers are dolts. But even the dolts are awakening - look at CNN’s ratings.
CNN is like The Onion but less believable.
CNN is Pravda, but with less credibility.
Nixon got less respect than any President. He even got chased out of office for something he didn’t even know about.
From the very beginning I always thought of Trump as more of cross between Al Czervik and Andrew Jackson, with a little bit of Lee Iacocca thrown in.

The left pounded Nixon for four years and he won a landslide election, kind of in your face type of election.

NO! Obama was Nixon, spying on the campaign of his rival. However, Nixon’s antics pale in comparison to Obama’s.
(Fill in the name of current GOP occupant of White House here) is Nixon and worse than Nixon.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
When they get honest, they know that Biden is their worst candidate, ever.
Biden is a perpetually corrupt, old, white, gaff master, grab handy politician with a nasty past that’s just barely hidden in a closet packed so full that no one can shut the door anymore.
They know this. And they want him to leave.
Even if their media looks the other way and no matter how many excuses or reasons they can come up with to excuse him and his behaviors away, they know it is true.
Using this against Trump? Win.
And if Biden drops out? Win - Win
They still have an enormous list from which to draw, and they will keep on trying, hoping to get one to stick.
To make a point about fickle voters, my high school US history teacher told us his wife would NOT vote for Nixon because in meeting him up close, she saw that he had dandruff. The horror!
