Think back. When did you start thinking for yourself?

Intersesting question.

I believe I was about 8 years old.

I did not have the knowledge and skill and information to understand how much I was being lied to until at least 20 years later.

I was certainly taught to think for myself by my parents, and even by teachers I had at school. Peer pressure being what it is though you do fall into a lot of groupthink as a teen.

We all used to grow out of it. Not anymore, at least by my observation.

Yeap that is about right. 25 to 35 is when people are able to think for themselves. Not just rebel against their parents.
