I think the Acting DNI (Joseph Mcguire) did horribly. He was not prepared well at all. I feel bad for him but he should have had his answers ready and for quick sound bites. He was like a fish out of water, terrible.
I agree, but I don’t think it was a matter of him not being prepared.
When asked about why Trump’s supposed influence wasn’t found to be illegal, the correct response would have been: “Just like with the Biden situation, where Biden even demanded a quid pro quo, the IG decided it did not rise to the level of a crime.”
Also, his vigorous promise to protect the whistleblower was exactly what Pencil Neck was demanding. The correct response would have been: “The laws provide for the protection of whistleblowers when procedure is followed. I will follow the law to the letter.”
Maguire seemed to be following the lefty program. I wonder if he was briefed before hand about just what they were trying to extract.
