What makes Krugman think we would feed these useless eaters? The Pol Pot strategy is much simpler and very effective. He drove his enemies into the jungles of Cambodia where they died of starvation and disease. (Most of the piles of skulls gathered after Pol Pots death show no signs of mortal injury.)
