*NOPE = Never Obtain the Presidency, Ever
That was Kristinn, wasn’t it Jim?
No, I’m thinking of the big one in DC back in 2009 (or was it 2012) when hundreds of thousands of conservatives streamed in and filled all the main streets of DC while marching to the rally.
——FR can be a co-sponsor like we were back then, but its going to require two or three larger organizations to bring enough people in-—
There you have it.
Very few realize the impact of the very large gathering in 2009. Although it was cold, snow on the ground here and there, large numbers turned out. As I recall the number of 30,000 was mentioned at the time. Ostensibly, the Vietnam Memorial wall desecration was prevented.
I don’t know how many there were of us because Freepers were absorbed into the host composed of many groups.
In my mind, the gathering scared the crap out of the Obama/DNC machine.
The IRS attacks on the various sprouting Tea Party groups followed as a direct result. Obama et al made a conscious decision to outright destroy the opposition using the powers of the government to accomplish the objective. The attack was successful because the active Tea Party organization was effectively destroyed.
That honestly sounds like a more effective plan.
...sounds like a great idea. Maybe this could happen frequently during full campaign season.
