10 House Democrats from districts President Trump won in 2016 are doggedly resisting the majority of their caucus in refusing to support an impeachment inquiry.
They're part of a rapidly-shrinking group following their House peers in holding out. Within 24 hours on Thursday and Friday, Rep. Conor Lamb, who represents a conservative-leaning stretch of Western Pennsylvania, and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, came around to backing an impeachment inquiry.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Tuesday she was opening impeachment hearings into Trump. The California Democrat said Trump betrayed America's security by seeking to enlist a foreign power, Ukraine, to tarnish a rival for his own political gain when he leaned on the president of that country to investigate business activities by Hunter Biden, son of former vice president and 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Some vulnerable House Democrats are portraying the issue as a matter of semantics. They want to back committee investigations into Trump while shunning the word "impeachment."

I’m sure it’s a poorly structured poll; it came out to fast to have been conducted properly.
They aren’t needed to push a Majority Vote for Impeachment, so why even discuss it?
They are free to act like they care about the Constitution and the Rule of Law and their Trump supporting Constituents will buy it hook, line and sinker.

Maybe they realize the obvious. There are a handful of members of Congress, Senators and Congresspersons, running against President Trump. The Senators and Congresspersons running for President who voted for impeachment are guilty of the same charge as President Trump is alleged; using their office (impeachment vote) to gain personal advantage (in election). What else did he miss? Well, VP Joe Biden in a video bragging about how he had his son’s Ukrainian prosecutor fired by withholding State Dept. funds with Hillary. Say, isn’t that the ‘crime’ alleged against the President? So where’s the impeachment of Biden and Obama as well?
Yep. I heard about that fake poll on the way to work this morning. The MSM are providing cover for the Dems.

They realize that President Trump will be re-elected in 2020 in a landslide victory, and, from their point of view, they must stop him at all costs because, if he wins again, he will cast the Light of Truth on the Democrat Party and all the Presidential Administrations since Clinton's, including the Bush Administration, which as the establishment Republicans in a dither, and the Obama Administration, which has the Democrats' sirens roaring in full scale alarm.
From their viewpoint, they must pursue impeachment. It's their last and only real hope. They have tried everything else.
The Democrats have entered a last ditch effort to scorch the earth as they MUST stop Trump--and extinguish the Light of Truth.
They are terrified of the consequences if they fail.

Fortunately now they were 20 years into the age of the Internet and everybody has an iPhone in there for a video camera and everybody can be an investigative journalist and we have lots of good individual individual investigative journalist the Democrats and their little ploys which used to be very effective in the media dark ages have no chance now look at how much has come out about this “whistleblower“ already and this entire scheme is very quickly falling apart now the amazing thing is that they decided to take two weeks off right after Pelosi comes out and says oh we have this impeachment inquiry with no vote and I suppose they thought I will go back and really rally support for this and they’re getting exactly the opposite if they’re listening at all so we’ll see what happens But I’ll bet 50 bucks there’s never even a vote
It’s going to be interesting. This is a true test of the power the media has to set a Democrat narrative and make it stick. During Watergate, they did it. During Iran-Contra, not so much. Electing Bill Clinton, they did it again. Electing Hillary, not so much. Only the last one occurred during a time of alternative media sources.
